The hostel owner told me this morning that there are no outdoor shoes to be worn in the hostel. crocs are provided for all (or you can bring your own slippers).

Also you will need to pack a towel (or else you can hire one)

The brand of boots are called Tuckland! I've had them for a few years and they have been through a couple of Duke of Edinburgh walks and are pretty waterproof but they are old. They might not be suitable for putting crampons on but I'll let you know soon! Bring them with you and we'll sort you out ...
